Judas Iscariot, a hated man
Sometime in your life you've wondered who would you consider the most hated man on the face of the earth. If we take into account their actions against humanity, may find a long line of names of men whose reputation is not considered to positively remember. However, this list is the name of a character that I personally have all the attributes to be number one on the classification of the most hated man on the face of the earth. His name is Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Jesus and sold him for thirty pieces of silver to the priests of that time, called Pharisees.
The story begins when Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, is chosen by Jesus as one of his twelve disciples. It was Galileo, but a native of another province, but Judas manages to be regarded as the financial manager of the group. Judas Iscariot, he decides to make a deal with priests who wanted to kill Jesus, and sold for thirty pieces of silver. It is in the Mount of Olives, across the brook Cedron, where Judas reaches the head of a detachment of soldiers and guards to arrest priests who shortly before had been his teacher. It is said that Judas kisses on the cheek as a sign that he was, hence the famous saying of Jesus that says, with a kiss betray me, Judas.
The Gospel of Judas, and apocryphal historical unreliability, highlights some aspects like these. He says that Jesus and Judas were friends since childhood, and that Jesus had chosen to be the one who betrayed him, a situation that bothered Judas, who refused to do so, because she loved him. Finally Jesus dissuaded because it makes a great promise to take him to heaven with him. However, the scriptures tell how reliable this historical version, including Pastor Alexander B. Judas Bruce quote some interesting features of his personality. He sees it as a self-centered person, who sought only their own interests. He was a person who is deceived herself, who knew and appreciated the good, though not practiced in short a hypocrite. He was a person whose aesthetic feelings, imagination and intellect, had an affinity with the noble and holy, ie appearance was covered with a saint. He was a person whose will and conduct, were slaves of passions vile and selfish. It was a double-minded person, that is, as I could do good, to do evil. He was a person who loved herself more than anything else, including Christ.
And it was a person acting in bad faith.
Judas Iscariot had all the attributes necessary to be a traitor. But that becomes a traitor? Why did you decide to betray his master? There are different versions, but eventually these become mere speculation. The closest is the description that makes the apostle John in his gospel. For example, the punter John says it was a person with Greed. In his Gospel, John tells us that Jesus is invited to dinner at the home of Lazarus, whom he had raised. A woman comes and anoints an expensive perfume on the feet and then dries them with her hair. (John 12:4) Judas, who was a disciple and later to betray him, objected Why not this perfume sold, worth a lot of money to give to the poor? Betting Juan was considered a thief. (John 12:6) said this not because they are interested in the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he was in charge of the money bag, he used to steal what was put into it. He was also recognized his vengeance Jesus did. Judas could not bear to be called public attention. John illustrates the passage in his Gospel (John 12:7) when he says, leave her alone, said Jesus.
Judas had a proven greed and who better than John to confirm this. In his Gospel, John tells us that the dinner, that last supper of Jesus and his disciples, the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus. Judas showed his love for Christ was cold, calculating and was surrounded by jealousy and resentment. Judas was a Galilean, but born in another province and fought the right to be considered the most important in the sky, though he thought that the mere fact of not being Galilean took away the possibility of being. But the fact of being chosen by Jesus as one of his disciples had enough. It was Jesus himself who chose Judas, when he met him, staring face to face, he knew that Judas would betray who. John tells us in his gospel that Jesus said, I know whom I have chosen. The Bible says that Jesus refers to Judas as the one who would betray him, and then adds, (Matthew 26:24) to the truth the Son of Man will go as it is written of him, but woe to that man who betrays that had better not been born.
In addition it was written that Jesus would be betrayed. The Bible says (Psalm 41, 9) to my best friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread has lifted up his heel me.
With his betrayal Judas renounces his allegiance to Christ, becomes a traitor and becomes the devil. John 13: 27 says, as soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. The opposite conversion is treason. Saul became a Christian without knowing the body of Jesus. Judas knew Jesus and betrayed him. Judas was chosen to be the companion of the son of God. And see and hear their works before the gospel preaching and casting out demons, now Judas was possessed by the devil and forced to perform reprehensible acts such as suicide. (Mt. 27, 3-5)
Only when Judas leaves Jesus, the devil enters. Only when Judas decided to leave the light enters the darkness. How many people know this?
Dear Reader. Finally I want to say that this passage leaves us a very important lesson that will undoubtedly be of benefit to you. No. 1 and No. 2 patience tolerance of evil. Jesus patiently bear the burden and as a secret burden on your heart.
