Swine Facilities

Currently tech pig production takes place in three production sites.

Site 1:

This production site includes areas of quarantine and acclimatization, services and gestation, AI Lab and maternity. The facilities at the site of production are focused on achieving the maximum production of weaned piglets per sow per year (26) must be installed designed depending on the weather, but most importantly always thinking about the comfort of the pigs, the ultimate goal of this site is the production of piglets weaned.

Site 2:

On this site enter the pigs from the site 1, ie very young pigs from 21 to 28 days of age, so the facilities for handling these pigs must be carefully designed to get the maximum performance of this category of pigs, production stage of the site comprises a period of 7 weeks, ie the pigs finish their time on this site when they have 70 days of age (10 weeks) in which case it must have at least 70 pounds.

Site 3:

This production site is where pigs are housed from site 2, ie pigs entering here from 10 weeks of age with a minimum weight of 70 pounds depending on the sales strategy of each farm, the pigs will go selling at an average age of 22 to 24 weeks of age with an average weight of between 230 to 260 pounds.

3 The room facilities should be designed to give maximum comfort pigs to have a minimum growth rate of 850 grams per day, among the most important aspects to consider are ventilation, population density, food availability and water quality at all times.
