Nougat Ice Cream Mango


* Preparation time: 30 minutes * Cooking time: 10 minutes * Total Time: 40 minutes * Cost: between 3 and 5 € per person * Difficulty: Easy * Number of persons: 10 Ingredients

- 6 leaves of gelatine

-2 Mangoes

- 125 g candied orange peel

- 125 g of almonds

- 30 cl of cream

- 150 g of liquid honey Thousand Flowers

- 150 g caster sugar

- 5 egg whites

- A little neutral oil Prepare the recipe:

To make your nougat Mango: 1 / Put the gelatine leaves in a small bowl of cold water.

2 / Peel the mango and cut into small cubes.

3 / Cut orange rind into cubes or beat with electric mixer.

4 / Fry the almonds in a dry nonstick skillet or pan in the oven.

5 / heat 4 tablespoons of cream in a small saucepan, dissolve the gelatin and went off the heat.

6 / Pour the honey and powdered sugar in a saucepan, cover and simmer 4 minutes. Remove from heat.

7 / Beat egg whites until stiff and add the honey syrup in a thin stream, whisking constantly, until a kind of meringue.

8 / Continue whisking until completely chilled (10 minutes).

9 / Beat remaining cream cold until peaks form and gently fold into the mixture.

10 / Double also melted gelatin into the cream, diced mango and candied orange peel and toasted almonds.

11 / Grease a loaf pan in the freezer (or freezing a rectangular box), pour the egg and place in freezer 12 hours.

12 / Remove the pan from the freezer an hour in advance and refrigerate.

13 / To serve, unmold the nougat ice cream on a plate. Wash the handle second and diced, unpeeled. 14 / Serve on individual plates, having a rectangular nougat share with diced mango.
