Biometrics characteristic had its first uses in the late nineteenth century, when it was established that the fingerprints were different in every human being. At that time he could find a method which would be used by police agencies and is in effect today. An access control is a mechanism that prevents unwanted persons from entering a protected location or accessing private information. Early access controls were traditional doors, then they were replaced by electronic gates that opened when using smart cards. Although these cards were a breakthrough, its effectiveness was affected by unscrupulous people, who found a way to falsify, steal or simply individuals who lend to others.
