Photo Of The Day: 12/05/2011 "Father Flying"
I remember years ago, I loved reading The Adventures of Tintin. I do not remember the title of the book, but one of them was a priest who levitated and the father called him flying ... to see this picture I could not help remembering. Leaving aside the irreverence, what is undeniable is the timelessness of this image. I can not see any detail that might indicate the time when the photograph was taken. Perhaps the perfection of the pavement, would reveal a certain modernity in the making, but still, could also have been taken in the seventies or a fortnight ago. However, and more succulent guessed that date, I would find out what thought crossed the brain of the brother, in that moment. ¿Analyze perhaps the loss of faith in our civilization, or hunger that plagues too many people?. Valued Perhaps a better distribution of wealth in this society, or why not, the relentless growth of AIDS? Africa?. Being honest, I think I was just watching the scenery. It is a meditation exercise like any other.
PS: FYI, if you write "father flying" in Google Image tab, not a single picture out of priests flying ... Curious no?.
