The UNAD, faces the challenges ahead


The Open University and Distance, faces the challenges of globalization through innovation, capturing from various perspectives of managing an education that responds to the knowledge society.

The XXI century education demands that new generations have the capacity to meet the challenges of globalization with new skills and knowledge. That addresses the management of technology and eradicate stratified differences in education.

Transforming and renewing higher education, it is intended that the company has the ability to compete not only locally but globally. In this leads UNAD under its various programs to build citizens able to tackle the various challenges that we face the twenty-first century.

This development of the education system is fundamental to the transformation of higher education today, where UNAD integrated through the participation of all, some innovative and sustainable developments in education for the future, as in this Colombian .

In this, the Open University and Distance working on a teaching model based on autonomy, under the constant reflection that combines theoretical and practical knowledge to the management of ICT thus achieving an international dimension to seek an exchange with quality and relevance .

The National Open University and Distance (UNAD) under its mission in mind the need of our society which competes and is facing a globalization that brings with it a transformative dynamic, so sailing distances to combat not only physical but intellectual among developed societies others like ours in the process of development.

Among his main interest is the advantage of technological advances to contribute to social change, knowledge, and thus development. That the actors act with responsibility and autonomy, to develop an entrepreneurial spirit and always looking for the advancement of projects productive for a society vulnerable, active or changing.

In the words of Germain Pilonieta "authentic pedagogical action is one that could develop within a dynamic view of history, educational projects that provide for democratic principles, technological, epistemological methodological strategies and supports to match the dynamics of the concrete reality of the community. (1987, 115). In this, the present managing UNAD ideal education in our society.
